Let’s never write an after a meeting email ever again.

So we all know that with all those note takers out there, I swear, there’s like three or four trying to draw in every call I have now. You have the note takers that are taking notes during all your calls, all your video calls, voice calls, everything. And it’s giving you a transcript at the end.

We already know that exists and that’s probably useful on its own, but how can we take that a step further?

What you want after every meeting

So after every meeting with a prospect, client, anything, any routine meeting, maybe even your team members, you want to have summaries typed up with the explanation with what the next steps might be. And you want to have that drafted and put into your email service.

So I’m going to be using Gmail for this particular example, but it can be any.

Start with a watcher

So after the call ends, you’ll get a transcript somewhere. You want to set up a watcher to that somewhere that filters out for that transcript. Once a transcript lands, it’ll kick off a job for creating an email.

Know your process first

But you want to have some prompting and you want to know what your process is at your company.

So if it’s a client and what you just had was a client meeting, you want to type up a summary of everything you talked about and what your next steps might be. And you want to have that type of email.

But if it’s a prospect, maybe you want to have, okay, here’s the next steps. Maybe here’s some testimonials. Here’s some extra facts about us. If you have any questions, do this, do this, do this.

And this should be able to be determined by the meeting name. So whatever you call the meeting, the AI agent of choice will be able to determine what type of email needs to be sent.

The flow

So here’s essentially the flow. Watcher on the transcript, that goes to our AI agent. It summarizes, it pulls out the relevant details. It determines what type of email needs to be sent.

Then it sends it to your draft box and alerts you.

And so the output basically is you don’t have to spend your time reviewing over the meeting notes to send the client email.

It drafts, it does not send

So what’s really great about this is that it’s dropping that email into your draft. So it’s not like it’s sending it, it’s in your draft folder.

So once you get that notification from Slack that this email draft is ready, you simply have to go to your draft folder, look over the email, change anything that looks wrong, and send it out.

Why it is worth an afternoon

This might not be hugely important, but I know how I feel after meetings, a little exhausted, feeling like I have an idea of what I need to do and I want to get working on the actual work itself.

So this one’s a really valuable one. And I see a lot of the people I talk to wanting this sort of solution because it speeds up the process and it speeds up the customer experience. And that’s very valuable.
